Material Overview

Our transparent extruded PMMA sheets (XT) are clear and uniform in thickness, giving them a minimalist and crystal-clear appearance, yet much lighter and more impact-resistant than traditional glass. Thanks to their sleek form and minimal thickness variation, they are perfectly suited for laser cutting, with the cut edges being neatly smooth. XT is often chosen for applications where precise dimensional tolerance is required, such as in displays and enclosure applications. Unlike the cast variant, extruded material can be slightly more susceptible to light micro-cracks during post-processing due to production and internal stress, so it is recommended to use the cast variant for parts where thickness plays a less significant role. 

Line and surface engravings are possible in this material, however, they are less beautiful and even than on cast acrylic.
