Material overview
Our brown MDF sheets are made from compressed wood fibres (Medium Density Fibreboard) and have a smooth finish on both sides. This fine, homogeneous material is highly suitable for laser cutting and engraving. Its consistent density produces clean, splinter-free cuts with minimal finishing.
Laser cutting produces a dark, neat edge with a kerf of approximately 0.2 mm. Engravings appear deep brown with strong contrast; settings and extraction determine the amount of smoke residue.

How do I know if a material is suitable for my laser cutter?
Every product page indicates which types of lasers the material is suitable for (e.g. CO₂ or diode lasers). If you are unsure, feel free to contact us. We are happy to advise you.
Are the sheets exactly the specified size?
We cut or saw the sheets as accurately as possible. Minor deviations of a few millimetres may occur due to the sawing or cutting process.
Can I return materials?
Yes, unused and undamaged materials can be returned within 14 days. Custom-made or specially ordered sheets are excluded. You can find more information on our returns page.
What are the shipping costs?
